Worst X-Mas Gifts Ever

I know Christmas is all about giving...I am glad to not get any gifts at all and give. But lets be serious. What exactly do you do when you get the worst present you can possibly think of..Do you lie and say you love it. Hide it away and bring it out only when that person is coming to visit? What is the proper thing to do? Just asking because I got a picture frame from a friend. Its new. Silver. And well, its shaped like a tooth. Its not soppose to be a tooth. But thats what it looks like to me. A tooth. What kind of picture would you put in a 12"tooth? ...and what do you say, "Is this some kind of joke", maybe they are laughing at home right now, knowing that I am staring at the tooth in disgust. Or maybe they really did think it was attractive. Hmmmm...

I think I'd grit my teeth and say "Oh thank you!" - and then give it away to someone else for a birthday or next Christmas. Or charidee!

Grit my teeth...LOL I get it. I definately did say thanks. And smiled really big. I have it in a box at the moment and I have thought about regifting..LOL But we have the same friends so it may get back to them so thats not a good idea. And if I get rid of it what if they ask where it is...Maybe if I put it up and just bring it out when they come over..Ugh..Maybe I will give it back to them next year for xmas!!!

I remember one year my nan gave my this disgusting fur gilet thing.
She asked me if I liked it, and I just burst into tears.

Your poor nan. My Mum made me one of those which I wore once - the day she gave it to me after having slaved over it for months. I still have it, however, which I'm really glad about as she passed away. It's brown and fluffy and vile but was made with love!!!

I have always been very fortunate and I have very rarely got stuff I don't like.

Anything like clothes that I get given I just say is lovely and then put it to the back of my wardrobe or it 'accidentally' gets mixed up with my out of season clothing and gets put away in storage. lol

the worst prezie i got was a masive plastic pot dog all the paint was chipped off an everything it "accidently" got pushed over.

I have been quite lucky and like what i get, but some years back my husband was given a shell suit in purple, with black and white stripes down the leg. being a short person he looked hideous and i dint wanna be seen out with him wearing it, so i tired to loose it over the neighbours fence....it blew of the line accidently...but they brought it back..Grrrrrr anyway, he was a taxi driver at the time and he's box said to him "omg who ever brought you that suit must have hated you" LOL It was his MOTHER! He dint wear it again after that.
