Well, this copyright thing is just getting silly! we have a letter from head Office telling us we are no longer to play any music, wheter it be radio, cd or tape as it is gonna cost the company 30k a year to get a licence!! So i argued with area manager that when Keith's new album came out can i play it if he gives me verbal permission, the answer is NO!!!!!!! It's his voice, he's time and money and still i can not play it in the shop. Even my mobile phone, if i play anything on that and it can be heard on shop floor then it's broadcasting, so i suppose we all better delete our ring tones then!!!!! Like NOOOOOO. Driving down the road with your radio blaring can result in fine as you need a licence for that!!! The world has gone mad! What do you think?

It has indeed - I posted in this forum somewhere or the other that a butcher was banned from singing while he worked in his shop because it was considered broadcasting!

Most of these laws that people cite for these "offences" are being incorrectly manipulated by over zealous bureaucrats anxious for power or simply people anxious over law suits. Example: there is NO law that says you can't film your kids in school plays, and yet people cite that all the time. You do NOT need permission of ANYONE to film a school play, certainly not written permission of all the parents of all the other kids. "Policy" is another matter ...

I better not sing then Great D cos if it's classed as broadcasting my singing could be classed as offensive!
People should be thinking of way's to stop knife crime and not stupid things that spoil other peoples enjoyment. I just don't get it, just latley i don't get a lot!!!!!
