I was a Zoo Keeper today!

Well, technically Brat 2 was, but I tagged along. I EVEN saw a demon llama! We petted lemurs and got in the middle of a scrap between a couple of the ruffled neck lemurs. I chickened out of touching the snake like the coward I am. And the rat. And a couple of lizards. Saw lions 'n' tigers 'n' bears (oh my). Big fat tapirs - and my daughter went into their enclosure and cuddled them, scratched them, petted them. She went into the penguins' enclosure and helped with feeding time!!!!!!!! Chased around goats that kept jumping out of their pen. Mucked out ducks, sheep, goats and mutant bunnies. Fed red squirrels and red pandas! Saw a baby giraffe who's "only" six foot five!

It was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm knackered.

Wow, was it her birthday Great D? They do all that at Drusillas Zoo, but it cost a small fortune!! Sounds like you both had a fantastic time, any piccis or videos for u tube of funny happenings??

Yeah it was her birthday :> Although some people thought she'd won a competition and I think others thought she was ill! Which she's not!!
