Im really stuck...

Can anyone describe to me what a Visual Element in Art is ??

I have this essay to do over the holidays ( Ohh Joy ! )
And i have to discuss everything i have done in art this term and 'relate to the visual elements and composition' ! Huh ??

visual.........is what you can see haha!!! im not exactly sure what you mean tho!

Alice, Frightening language isn't it, but 'visual' might just mean what you see, and 'elements' just means parts, I think. You could start by jotting down a few things that grab your attention in a picture, such as colour, is it bright or subtle? If it is an abstract, do the shapes appeal to you (or not)? Wish I could help you more, but just go with your instinct, you might give yourself and teacher a surprise. Good Luck.
