I've read that Kerry Ellis is leaving in June for a while to play the role somewhere else, but to return later in the year. Nowt about it finishing so far.

Re: Wicked
Why didn't you like it, Jessie? I've just finished reading the book - loved it, though I know they've altered the storyline a lot for the musical.

Re: Wicked
I realy want to see Wicked I know a handfull of people who loved it.
It's funny though, I know all the songs but I've never seen the musical, it was exactly the same for Joseph. The first time I saw it I knew all the songs! lol!

Re: Wicked
Loved it! But I love all musicals!
Except Evita, not so keen on that one!
Wicked was very good but I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought! This was due to the performance being full of super fans, who were a little over zelous. Laughing a bit too hard at the jokes etc. And what is with the clicking of fingers?! Total distracted me.

Re: Wicked
You'll have to flick through to a couple of girls warbling into microphones ...
And Nicola, I watched a YouTube video about Xanadu yesterday. It was a fake advertisement for the new musical with the cast listening to a speech by one of the SITC girls - and they were clicking their fingers. Apparently it's a mild and gentle way of applauding at times you wouldn't normally applaud ...

The movie should be with us within five years, according to that article. They're in "early planning" stages.
Question: should I take a ten year old to see this musical in the theatre?
